im sure you've noticed the blogskin :X
im having a major GA withdrawel, so i have to see my favourite faces every single day.
haha no actually i kinda forgot how this skin looked like (i saved it on my desktop) so i decided to let this place turn into a shrine for the next, let's say, few months? yaaayy..... ;)
the title for each section, as well as the message on the front page and the scrolling text are all excerpts from the series, with the scrolling this being the prologue said 3/4 of the time by meredith and the rest...
ah forget it. you wouldn't know what i was talking about anyways.
went to border's today to go look for the dvds. only had season 2 whichs costs $39.90. quite reasonable lah, considering it's the longest series out of the five so far. so. must start saving. desperately.
secretly went to try my teacher's pointe shoes before class today.
the feeling is simply amazing.
actually we are ALREADY SUPPOSED TO START POINTE.
no thanks to my class. we must be the slowest, ever.
no offense guys.
but i like things speedy.
so i am going to save up, and go to stage image myself.
it doesn't even hurt.
not really, anyways.
but i can take it.
the flu jab didn't even hurt.

cip today was real meaningful.
it was a tour cum workshop cum performance for some kids, only these kids were special.
they are in a home for kids who were previously abused, or have single parents who cant' afford to raise them. they are also protected, which means that their picture cannot be taken in order to protect themselves. it's like erasing your identity, disappearing off the face of the earth.
what's it like, to "never exist again"? to have no identity?
nowadays, camwhoring goes on practically all the time.
to preserve a memory, an experience, we just take out our cameras and snap.
what's it like to not be able to do that?
just think: if my dad had laid a hand on me, i could be there.
if my mom didn't have a job, i could be there.
if i had more siblings, i could be there.
these kids were as young as THREE.
they can't even tell you the entire times table, yet the emotional battering they have taken far exceed what we will ever feel. some women never recover from Battered Women's Syndrome, yet, when i look at these kids, you can never tell of their past.
they are strong.
and for that, i admire them.

it just focuses on Addison Montgomery [no more -Shepherd (can't say i'm too sad)], who leaves the neonatal wing of SGH (not Singapore General Hospital ah, Seattle Grace Hospital) to join a small-town LA clinic-like place, hence the title of the show.

bear in mind, THIS DOES NOT PROTECT US AGAINST H1N1-A, so don't get your hopes up.
and anyways it does not ensure that you confirm will not get the flu in the next one year,
IT IS JUST A PRECAUTION.

mom, nat and aaron went cycling.
i walked the dog. so much better :P
so... we were walking, walking, walking, then i saw this couple going at it. like, really going at it. they were at the edge of this "cliff" thingy. the beach? so not a good kissing/making out spot anymore.
too many lights.
at least they had the good sense to wear black. lol.
even worse, directly opposite them was two large groups of people bbq-ing and having this loud, raccous party. haha.
the things people do for love.

even sadder, i now have the stupid chicken pox.

i think the school shouldn't have included a competition segment this year. if we were serious about winning something, we would just run faster/more seriously. gonna get a collar pin anyways. why must everything have a 'best'?
moreover, its kinda the top 6 runners from every class, so no prizes for guessing who wins top class title.

they (the school) doesnt understand at all.
but on the other hand, its not like they asked to be fast.
they just are.
then again, they dont have to act so pai kia.

after x-ctry, kimberly, nurin, shearin, yenyin, yetpeng and i went to watch THE UNINVITED.
